After casting, die-cast zamak components undergo careful secondary machining and surface finishing to refine their shape, functionality and preparation for the final treatment.
From the foundry department, zamak accessories, components and small parts are transferred to the mechanical machining department, equipped with transfer machines and 5-axis machining centers, where specific operations such as trimming, drilling, tapping and reaming are carried out.
These operations remove die-casting residues and precisely finish the geometry of each item, ensuring components are ready for the subsequent surface finishing stages.
